Both can play all equal amount of songs but problem comes with clarity of your Music Experience. Moto E just normal Android Player where Lumia had with noise reducing speakers and Microphone so your Clarity when you are speaking on calls its more.

Moto E comes with Just 4GB internal memory when Lumia comes with 8GB memory.
Moto E Os occupies 1.2 GB of memory in that where Lumia occupies 2.64GB of memory and more space for the User.
Moto E Drawback 4GB internal memory you cannot do much with this User gets only 1.6 GB memory to use. Where as Lumia 525/520 comes with 8 GB you have nearly 6GB to install apps.
